Visimix – Chemical Mixing Software Plans for 2025
For the year 2025, our main mission is to provide our customers the capability to generate
more results in less time. So, the meaning of this, run the software in multiple results by one
Enter, and to expand the capability to generate results for a group of input parameters that
normally are design or operational parameters like rpm and volume in the operation or design,
diameter of impeller, type of diameter, the baffles in the tank, and provide a group of outputs.
So, the expansion will be that we will be able to do more than one in one, and in this way to try
to catch the optimum that maybe is around a complete zone of operation when you are
running your design of experiment activities.
So, the software will be able to provide, an interaction between the inputs and the output, and
an interaction to companies that are applying or are looking for this output of Visimix in order
to implement it into the complete calculation and simulation tools that are providing the
capability to decide what will be the best a group of operational parameters we need to apply
for different types of equipment, according to the chemical background and knowledge existing
in the company. This is coming from the activities in the software, not related to mixing, it is
related to the capability to generate more results in less time, but mainly to do more automatic
calculations that will give you the capability to decide better and to identify what is the
optimum in the process.
Regarding the scientific part, we are trying to generate some kind of interaction between
mixing parameters and specific unit operations, we talk about crystallization, we talk about the
feeding position in a tank, and we talk about modifications. What we are trying to work on in
the first step is to try to understand if the models exist in the market, that normally are not
taking into consideration mixing. We can implement inside this model some changes that will
take into consideration the mixing as a part of the results. So, this is a very starting activity, we
are starting to evaluate it. We always start with crystallization; in this way, we'll be able to
generate results. All the activities we are talking about are in our training, in the training that is
essential in order to know how to connect between the mixing and the process, because as you
know, mixing is a tool that we use to generate quality productivity and avoid problems in
operation. So, in order to understand what is the meaning of the results, what is the meaning of
mixing parameters, and how to be aware of the experiments we need to generate in the
company, to create data that will support our decisions, we will try to expand our training
capabilities and our knowledge to show how the software is working, and of course how to
analyze the results, is to guide you more to how we are generating this data in the lab and how
we are operating our equipment in the lab to generate results that will be relevant to our
activities and to our expected input that we need to provide to the company once they are
coming with some requirements about manufacturing more material in a big equipment and
how to answer in a unique way that which is expected from us to provide to the company.
So, this extension, we will try to generate during the next year. That is more than we are doing now. That is important, as you know, many users are enjoying our onsite seminars or our customer support plan that we’re providing to our customers. So only to remind you, first, when you have the software, the customer support is prepared in the way that we provide to you at the beginning of Visimix basic training, basic training. The meaning of this is how to feed data, how to generate results and how to be sure that the data you are feeding is relevant and representative. In parallel with it, you can use the Visimix certificate that we have on our website in order to train yourself more and feel more confident that you know how to operate the software. The second stage of this training for our customers is to support our customers in the project from the beginning to the end. The meaning of this is they will feed you with specific data, you will generate results, we discuss together what you are looking for and what the meaning of the result we are providing in Visimix, and after that, to write the recommendation for the next step. This is the normal plan of mixing you get when you have the software, and it is happening to the companies that are buying the software and working with us during the year. The second level is to come to the company to work, to generate some onsite seminars. During the year we are doing it regularly, every company is required to come there. The price is coming mainly because we need to travel to the company for 1 or 2 days. And there, what we are doing in the first part of the meeting is to remind you how to work with the software, and how to generate results according to the main important activities you are doing with the software. The second part of the day is to discuss customer-specific projects or any questions you have about the mixing and the Vitamix. We are there in order to answer you, the professional team.
And now we want to expand this training not only by the computer in the Zoom meeting room, we are trying to expand it to the laboratory. The meaning of this is to try to run some specific processes that are representative of reactions or for crystallization for emulsification, etc., and to show you how to connect between them, how to apply the software and feed the materials in the lab equipment, and the production equipment, to measure something in this equipment and to calculate with the software and see how we are connecting one to the other to reach conclusions. These will be the main important activities for 2025, and we hope we at least start to see some advancement, some progress in these three main directions.
The Influence of Mixing in the Process
New methodology using VisiMix software for the purpose of checking the influence of mixing in the processes.
VisiMix Demo Operation
Learning how to input data into the VisiMix software and get results the will help us understand the influence of mixing in our processes.
Lab Experiments
Learning how to set up the relevant experiments at the lab scale, to develop the processes from an engineering point of view.
