Until 1990, Head of The National Laboratory of Mixing Equipment in the State Research and Design Institute of Chemical Machinery (St. Petersburg). Between 1961 and 2015, Dr. Braginsky with co-workers authored about 20 patents (USA, Israel, Russia), three books, and over 100 articles related to flow dynamics, heat and mass transfer in mixing equipment. Dr. Braginsky is known as one of the world leaders in the field of mixing, a member of the EFCE Mixing working party.

Author of numerous publications, including a book on computer implementation of numeric methods in heat and mass transfer in areas with moving boundaries (Leningrad University Press, 1987) and of dozens of articles in scientific journals and in the publications of the Academy of Sciences in the former Soviet Union.

Until 1990, senior researcher at the State Research and Design Institute of Chemical Machinery and at the State Institute of Polymer Resins (St. Petersburg). Author of numerous patents and publications on mixing and liquid extraction in various scientific journals, including Theoretical Foundations of Chemical Technology, Journal of Disperse Science and Technology, etc. (1980 -2015)..
